We’re back!
Sorry we haven’t been doing many updates, we have been really busy with the end of the school year and whatnot. But we’ve played a couple shows, and now we’re almost back in full swing.
Rock Now for Autism
We will be playing at Dos Amigos this Saturday, April 21st, to help raise money for Autism Speaks. We are also playing next Saturday, the 28th, at the MCH Fitness Center for the same cause. We are super stoked, and to be honest, we probably don’t deserve these big shows. We are more than happy to play though, and we are just going to go out and have the time of our life. We’re working on the demo tomorrow, and we just got done recording some guitar stuff tonight. Thanks to everyone who has followed and supported us so far, you have no idea how much it means to us.

Greenwood Spring Event
If there’s one thing that I hate, it’s the heat. Our instruments wouldn’t stay in tune for more than 30 seconds. But other than that, it was an awesome place to play.

We were lucky enough to use Anthony’s Dad’s sound equipment, which worked out really well. We played a two hour set, and as soon as we finished our last song, a big dust storm blew in and we had to rush to get all the equipment in the trailer. That’s West Texas for you. Sunny one minute, Tatooine the next. Oh yeah, and Cracker Barrel afterwards was the best thing ever.
In the studio.
Got the drum track for a song done, now Anthony is recording the guitar part. This is going much smoother than I expected.
David’s a loose butthole.

Demo coming soon!
This Friday, we’ll be recording some of our favorite covers in the studio. We are going to put them up on our website, where you can download them for free! We will let you know when we get them all finished and ready to go.
Greenwood Spring Event
This Saturday, April 7th, we will be playing at the Greenwood Spring Event at 4:00 P.M.
Here is a link to the event’s Facebook page, we hope to see you there!
Last night’s show was awesome.
We played some songs that we hadn’t rehearsed very much, and I know it showed in my drumming, but everyone seemed to like it a lot. Getting a big reaction like that after every song was euphoric, in every sense of the word. Playing these weekly shows really motivates me to do better and better each time I play. Last night was the first time my dad saw me play, and I think he realized how passionate I am about it. He told me he wants to buy me a new drum set (which is an awesome DW set that I’ll post pictures of soon) and he asked me if it’s something I wanted to pursue. You wouldn’t understand how awesome this is for me, because making music for a living has always been a dream of mine that I didn’t think I was talented enough to fulfill. However, if there’s one person that will tell you when something isn’t a realistic dream, it’s my dad. I mean that in the nicest way possible. Him telling me I could pursue it if I wanted to was like liberating, in a way. Anyway, I just wanted to share how stoked I was, there will be a playlist on our YouTube channel probably tomorrow with all the songs that we played last night, as well as a bunch of pictures taken by our good friend Bryce Smith. Sorry I post such long and uninteresting stuff!

Website: http://pridesparanoia.com/home.cfmToday was awesome.
We learned a new song, and I bought a fancy shaker. Rad, right? I also arranged for us to play at the Greenwood Spring event in Midland, Tx. on Saturday, April 7th. We don’t have a set time yet, but we will be playing multiple sets (most likely 3) and we’ll keep everyone posted as to when we will be playing. We hope to see you guys out there!

So tomorrow we will be playing live for the first time.
It feels weird, but I like it. I wish I could do this for the rest of my life. We will definitely post pictures and videos tomorrow night. If you haven’t heard, you can see the details here: http://pridesparanoia.com/events.cfm. We hope to see you there! We’ve also got some pretty big news coming soon, so look forward to that. Hope you all have a good day.
